Program Overview
The NTIS Sailing program is a partnership between Yachting Australia, Yachting NT and the NTIS to provide high performance coaching and related services to Northern Territory youth and junior sailors who intend to represent Northern Territory at National or International sailing regattas.
The primary goals of the NTIS Sailing program are for athletes to gain:
- Selection into the Australian Sailing Team Development Squad, ISAF World Youth championships and National Youth team.
- Winning or top 3 performances at Australian Youth Championships, International Class World Championships, and National Class championships.
The program currently operates from the Darwin Sailing Club.
