Program Overview
The primary goals of the Northern Territory Institute of Sport (NTIS) Rugby Union program are to have athletes gain:
* Professional club contracts to the Australian Super Rugby franchise programs.
* Selection to the Australian Schoolboys Squad or Combined Affiliated States Squad.
The secondary goals of the program are to have athletes identified and included into the ARU Pathway to Gold Programs, namely the:
* ARU National Gold Squad (U16-18s).
* ARU Junior Gold Squad (U15s).
The NTIS squad program provides a high performance training environment for Northern Territory Rugby Union players aged from 13 to 18 years old, with the focus on developing players for 7s and 15s Rugby.
