AFL

Head Coach

Brenton Toy

Program Overview

The primary goal of the Northern Territory Institute of Sport (NTIS) Australian Rules Football program is to have NTIS athletes drafted to an AFL club on a full time or rookie contract.

The program aims to develop and prepare 16 to 19 year olds for the annual AFL National draft and to progress them along the athlete pathway via other Australian State professional leagues.

The NTIS Head Coach also works closely with the AFLNT and local team coaches to promote the practices, skills and fitness levels required to help young athletes progress to the highest possible level.
