Qualifications
Chris has been Curator of Annelids at the MAGNT since 2000. He has broad experience with the biology, ecology and systematics of polychaetes (bristle worms).
He has authored or co-authored more than 50 papers, book chapters, articles and electronic publications and is currently Editor of the MAGNT’s scientific journal, The Beagle and on the Editorial Board of the Zoological Journal of the Linnean Society.
Research
His current research projects include taxonomic studies of Indo-W. Pacific nereidid worms and polychaetes of Darwin Harbour; and development of on-line web based taxonomic database systems (PARTNER Project and Australian Nereidid Species Bank).
