Cycad Management Program 2009-2014

The Management Program for Cycads in the Northern Territory 2009-2014 has been approved by the Northern Territory Government.

The Program has been developed by the Parks and Wildlife Service of the Northern Territory, following community consultation on the Program.

The Northern Territory approved management program has been submitted to the Australian Government for approval as a wildlife trade management plan under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act.  Approval under the Act is required for international trade in cycad leaves and plants.
