NT Waterwise Schools

The NT Waterwise Schools program encourages Central Australian schools to expand and develop education and action programs about water, by providing funds and practical resources towards waterwise projects.

 

NT Waterwise Schools Grant

This grant is open to all Central Australian schools. The grant is up to $3000 (including GST) for a project that saves water, improves water efficiency or conserves the values of a waterway. The project must also link to a classroom project and educate students.

Ti Tree kids kwaty "Save Water" e-book: available online

As part of their 2009 NT Waterwise School Grant project Ti Tree School Language and Culture classes produced some fantastic water posters.

A selection have been made into a colourful book with simple messages about water conservation. View the book online (PDF 5.94Mb) or request a print out.

 

The grant was used to replace leaking and old taps around the school.
