The Darwin Harbour Regional Plan of Management has been has been superceded by the Darwin Harbour Strategy. The 2003 Plan remains a useful background resource and a comprehensive collation of community aspirations and knowledge of the Darwin Harbour from that time.

The Darwin Harbour Regional Plan of Management is made up of five sections:

Section 1 - Introduction (pdf 1.5MB)
Provides an overview of the plan's scope vision, goals and its valued attributes. -
Section 2 - Context and Background Information (pdf 300Kb)
Presents cultural, social, economic and environmental information about the region. It also lists management issues of the region. -
Section 3 - Managing the Darwin Harbour Region (pdf 600Kb)
Outlines the strategic goals, outcomes, actions and key performance indicators to achieve the vision. This section also lists current activities. -
Section 4 - Implementation and Integrated Management (pdf 200Kb)
Provides recommendations for the effective implementation of the plan. -
Section 5 - Appendices (pdf 0.5MB)
Includes supporting documentation, references and acknowledgments.
Development Phase
