Tour Operator Permit System
The Tour Operator Permit system for NT managed Parks and Reserves was developed through full consultation with Park Management and the tourism industry.
By permitting tour operators we can ensure that natural and cultural values and management guidelines are maintained, visitor sites and their carrying capacities are managed and that visitor safety standards and industry requirements to access attractions, and exclusive sites, are met. Improved visitor monitoring data will also support appropriate planning and budgeting for site amenities and improvements.
2012 Tour Operator Fees:
- Permit Fee - $100 four or less visits; $500 five or more visits
- Vehicle Sticker Fee - $10 per sticker

When completing the form you will be prompted to attach a copy of your public liability insurance and pay your Tour Operator Permit and Vehicle Sticker fees, you will not be able to submit this form without doing so.
Please Note: Existing Tour Operators must complete their Yearly Patron Statistics Statement provided at the link below, failure to submit this statement will result in your permit being withheld.

Implementation
The permit system will gradually incorporate training and accreditation components that will enhance the professional development of commercial tour operators and their guides.
