The 2012 Northern Territory Literary Awards are now open.
Recognising the Territory’s best poems, short stories, essays and scripts from across Central Australia, Tennant Creek, Katherine and Darwin, the Awards are open to everyone. There are specialist categories for youth (aged 12-18 years) and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander writers. Other categories include short stories, poems, scripts, screenplays, essays and travel writing. Entry forms can be downloaded here (PDF 3MB)or obtained in hard copy from the Northern Territory Library, inside Parliament House.
Entries close on 29 February 2012, with the winners announced at a ceremony at Parliament House on 10 May 2012. For more information, please email libraryevents@nt.gov.au
