The 25th Eric Johnston Lecture was delivered by the outgoing Administrator. Mr Pauling has a distinguished record of over thirty years of service to the legal profession in the Northern Territory. He was appointed as Queen’s Counsel in 1984 and served in the position of Solicitor General of the NT from 1988 until 2007. Sworn in on 9 November 2007 as the 19th Administrator of the Northern Territory, he was also appointed as an Officer of the Order of Australia on the Queen’s Birthday Honours list of 2008.
