Proposed Heritage Declaration
The Heritage Advisory Council invites public comment on the proposal to the Minister for Natural Resources, Environment and Heritage to include the following places in the Northern Territory Heritage Register pursuant to Section 26 of the Heritage Conservation Act:
- Manna Paroo Rockholes, located in the Carpentaria Gulf region
- Yarar Rockshelter, located near Wadeye in the Daly River region

2012 Heritage Festival
Come and travel back in time as Parks and Wildlife Rangers present a range of events to showcase the historical value of our Territory Parks.
A series of Parks Community Events will support the National Trust’s 2012 Heritage Festival.

Proposed Heritage Declaration - 23 March 2012
The Heritage Advisory Council invites public comment on the proposal to the Minister for Natural Resources, Environment and Heritage to include the following three sites in the Northern Territory Heritage Register pursuant to Section 24 of the Heritage Conservation Act:
- WWII Zuccoli defence position
- WWII Bomb Crater, McMinn Street, Darwin
- WWII Degaussing Range, Darwin Harbour

The Department of Natural Resources, Environment, The Arts and Sport is responsible for managing the Territory’s unique cultural and natural heritage. Find out more about how the Department does this by going to Managing NT Heritage. A list of all declared heritage places can be found in the NT Heritage Register. There is also special information about Indigenous Heritage and Maritime Heritage.
