Who, What, Where, When and How

Who
Any children between the ages of 9 and 11 can become a Junior Ranger. All you need is an interest in the bush and a sense of adventure.Image of a Junior Ranger at the beach

What
There are 15 activities run over a 10 week period (during the Term 2 in all regions) with other Community Events run throughout the year (please contact us to find out more about these).

Where
Most activities are conducted in our local Parks and Reserves and involve experts wherever possible.

When
Activities are held on the same afternoon/evening each week and some weekends (but not on long weekends).

How do I become a Junior Ranger?

Applications are now open for the 2012 Junior Ranger Program in all regions.

Fill out the Expression of Interest form and return it to your local Junior Ranger Coordinator by Monday 5th February.
