Community Consultation
The Department seeks comment from individuals in relation to the various proposals that are currently up for review.
Those people who have an interest in, or live near a proposed development can have valuable knowledge that provides a vital contribution to both the understanding management of a region or locality.
The following is a list of proposals open for comment and also those that are closed.

| Meat Processing Facility (Abattoir) The Australian Agricultural Company Ltd proposes to develop a meat processing facility in the Livingston locality, 50km south of Darwin. The Northern Territory Minister for Natural Resources, Environment and Heritage determined that the proposal requires assessment under the Environmental Assessment Act at the level of Public Environmental Report (PER). Wambardi Aboriginal Land Trust, Judbarra/Gregory National Park The Parks and Wildlife Commission of the Northern Territory in pursuance of section 14(2) of the Territory Parks and Wildlife Conservation Act, gives notice that a report has been prepared regarding the declaration of part of the Wambardi Aboriginal Land Trust described as NT Portion 6803A, containing an area of 14,880 hectares, to become part of Judbarra/Gregory National Park.
