Community Consultation
The Department seeks comment from individuals in relation to the various proposals that are currently up for review.
Those people who have an interest in, or live near a proposed development can have valuable knowledge that provides a vital contribution to both the understanding management of a region or locality.
The following is a list of proposals open for comment and also those that are closed.

| Meat Processing Facility (Abattoir) The Australian Agricultural Company Ltd proposes to develop a meat processing facility in the Livingston locality, 50km south of Darwin. The Northern Territory Minister for Natural Resources, Environment and Heritage determined that the proposal requires assessment under the Environmental Assessment Act at the level of Public Environmental Report (PER). Guidelines for the preparation of the PER were issued on 13 January 2012. The PER is available for comment. |
