2011-2012 EnvironmeNT Grants

Successful EnvironmeNT Grants have been announced for the 2011-2012 round. View details about successful projects.

 

Organisations receiving Operational Funding receive the third and final payment in their triennial funding.  New Operational applications will be launched in the 2012-2013 EnvironmeNT Grant round on a triennial basis.

There are five categories of grants available including:

  1. Climate Change
  2. Invasive Species Management
  3. Waste and Resource Recovery
  4. Water Conservation
  5. Wildlife Conservation

EnvironmeNT Grants funding is provided for on-the-ground actions to help reduce impact on the environment and ensure the Territory's unique and beautiful environment is safeguarded for everyone to enjoy.

Over the past seven years this program has provided over $3.5 million to fund a diverse range of projects across the Territory. This unique program offers exciting new opportunities for community groups, industry associations, schools and education providers to undertake environmental projects in the Northern Territory.
