Friends of Araluen
The Friends of Araluen exist to support the arts and activities of Araluen Arts Centre and to add value to the arts community of Alice Springs.
Ongoing Activities of the Friends are:
- Supporting large projects and generating funds to assist the Araluen Arts Centre in its programs and activities.
- Acting as licensees for the Araluen Bar
- Sponsorship of an Arts Grant to support the activities of local artists
- Fundraising.
Membership
2012 sees the Friends of Araluen and the Araluen Arts Centre coming together once again to provide a special membership offer, Friends of the Araluen Arts Centre.
Becoming a member of the Friends of the Araluen Arts Centre means you are not only assisting the Araluen Arts Centre to bring the very best of Australian performing and visual arts experiences to Central Australia, but that you automatically become a member of the Friends of Araluen, with voting rights in the organisation and an ability to provide direct feedback to the Araluen Arts Centre on programming and ongoing event and facility development.
By working together, The Friends of Araluen and the Araluen Arts Centre management aim to develop further joint initiatives that continue to provide benefits to members and the wider Alice Springs community and generate inspiring and entertaining experiences at the Araluen Arts Centre.
In 2012 the annual Membership fee is just $50.00, which provides the following benefits:
- Special Friends of the Araluen Arts Centre members price on tickets to all theatre performances presented by the Araluen Arts Centre.
- Complimentary drink from the bar with all tickets purchased for Araluen presented theatre shows.
- 10% discount on Araluen Arts Centre Gallery Shop purchases.
- 10% discount on products from Membership Sponsors.
- Invitations to all visual art exhibition openings at the Araluen Arts Centre.
- A What’s On brochure sent to you in the mail every two months.
- Regular updates on all activities at the Araluen Arts Centre and Friends of Araluen initiatives.
20% of all membership fees will go to the Friends of Araluen to support projects at the Araluen Arts Centre.
To become a member of the Friends of the Araluen Arts Centre, simply complete a membership application form.
